Description
the Model 72 was advertised as a high-capacity repeater for those who want a well-balanced rifle to take into the field.[2] Sales of the Model 72 were generally strong until production was halted temporarily in 1942 due to World War II; production resumed in 1945 and ran until 1959, when it was discontinued.
